BOTOX® Cosmetic is one of the most extensively studied medical aesthetic treatments and is approved for cosmetic use in 78 countries.* BOTOX® Cosmetic has a record of experience that aesthetic specialists know and trust. And, the safety and efficacy of BOTOX® Cosmetic have been evaluated in both Allergan sponsored clinical trials as well as in 417 peer-reviewed articles in scientific and medical journals.

Derived from sources that exist in nature

BOTOX® Cosmetic contains tiny amounts of a highly purified botulinum toxin protein refined from the bacterium, Clostridium botulinum. Formulations, potency, and approved doses vary among botulinum toxin products, which means that one product cannot take the place of another. Those are a few reasons why there is no such thing as a “generic” form of BOTOX® Cosmetic.

There been no studies to support that other products are Unit-to-Unit equivalent to BOTOX® Cosmetic.
A treatment experienced by millions of people

Approximately 10.9 million vials of BOTOX® Cosmetic have been sold in the United States since 2002, and millions of people have already made BOTOX® Cosmetic a part of what they do for themselves. Today, BOTOX® Cosmetic is the #1 selling product of its kind in the world.

What are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are a non-invasive treatment used to restore youth and volume to the face.

As we age, our skin begins to lose its elasticity and natural hydration.

This, combined with the effects of gravity, can lead to lines, wrinkles and sagging of the skin.

Fillers are an excellent treatment to restore volume and plumpness to lips, chin, cheeks, the jawline, the area under the eyes, and even the nose.

In some cases, fillers can be used to improve the appearance of scars.

Dermal fillers are fast and easy.

They are administered via tiny injections and the results are visible instantly.

Filler injections are quick and simple, and provide instant results with a minimal amount of discomfort and downtime.

Mesotherapy Skin Boosters: Hydrates, tightens, and firms saggy skin. Smooths fine lines, repairs and brightens damaged skin due to sun exposure, and smoking. Stimulates Collagen and Elastin fiber reproduction. Treatment Areas: Face, Neck, Chest, Hands. Micro injections of a hyaluronic hydrating agent and a nutrient rich antioxidant skin tightening, brightening pack is injected directly into the deep skin layers where a classic cream cannot penetrate, resulting in deep skin regeneration.

What is KYBELLA® (deoxycholic acid) injection 10 mg/mL? KYBELLA® is a prescription medicine used in adults to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called “double chin.” It is not known if KYBELLA® is safe and effective for use outside of the submental area or in children less than 18 years of age. KYBELLA® MAY BE RIGHT FOR YOU IF: You’re bothered (unhappy, self-conscious, embarrassed) by fat under the chin, also known as submental fullness You feel the condition makes you look older or heavier than you actually are You don’t want to have surgery You eat well and exercise, but submental fullness does not go away

Chemical peels can improve the skin's appearance. In this treatment, a chemical solution is applied to the skin, which makes it blister  and eventually peel off. The new skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin.

How Chemical Peels Are Done

You can get a chemical peel in a doctor's office or in a surgery center. It's an outpatient procedure, meaning there's no overnight stay.

The professional who does your peel will first clean your skin thoroughly. Then he or she will apply one or more chemical solutions -- such as glycolic acid, trichloroacetic acid, salicylic acidlactic acid, or carbolic acid (phenol) -- to small areas of your skin. That creates a controlled wound, letting new skin take its place.

Botox® is the world’s single most requested anti-aging treatment with more than 7 million procedures in the US every year.

WHAT IS BOTOX®? Botulinum toxin A is a naturally occurring protein derived from a bacterium, and is marketed under the brand name Botox® (Allergan). When used cosmetically, it can smooth out deep lines and creases, restoring a revived youthful appearance to your face and skin.

HOW DOES BOTOX® WORK? Botox® is an FDA-approved product that temporarily improves both moderate to severe frown lines between the brows and lines around the sides of your eyes. Repeated contractions from frowning and squinting are the main causes for developing lines, and wrinkles. Botox® temporarily reduces the activity of these muscles, achieving smooth, tight skin.

THE BENEFITS OF BOTOX® • Changes in your appearance occur within three days of the injection, with the full onset after 7-10 days. • Facial and body skin appears dramatically smoother • Facial lines disappear or diminish in only a few days • Prevents future static lines and creases in skin. • Allows the client to resume normal activities immediately after treatment.

PREPARING FOR THE TREATMENT During your complimentary consultation with your provider, a full medical history will be taken and assessed in order to determine whether or not you are a candidate for treatment, the potential side effects, and the benefits you can expect after the treatment.

WHAT IS THE TREATMENT LIKE? BOTOX involves a quick 10-minute procedure that requires no downtime or recovery.

AFTER THE TREATMENT You can return to work and resume normal activities immediately after the treatment. Avoid exercise for 4-6 hours after the treatment, Avoid massaging the area for 24 hours. We also schedule a follow-up appointment 14 days after your first treatment in order to assess your body’s response to the treatment and answer any questions you may have. After the initial visit and first follow-up do not require follow-up appointments.

WILL IT LEAVE ME EXPRESSIONLESS? We will never leave you expressionless. Cosmetic injections are designed to enhance your natural appearance. Prior to your first injectable experience, you will first undergo a complimentary consultation where your provider will discuss in detail how the injections work and assure you of any hesitations you may have. Additionally, Botox® procedures are always administered by experienced and trained medical professionals.

WHO IS SUITABLE FOR BOTOX® TREATMENT? Early in our twenties, facial lines and wrinkles begin to appear that can adversely affect your appearance. With Botox® we can help you restore and enhance your appearance and prevent future wrinkles. Botox® is commonly used by men and women who are looking for that healthy, youthful, energetic look.

WHO IS NOT SUITABLE FOR BOTOX® TREATMENT? Pregnant or breast feeding women, patients suffering from severe neuromuscular disorders, Bell’s palsy, or bleeding disorders.

WILL IT INTERACT WITH MEDICATION I’M TAKING? Drug interactions can occur if clients are taking aminoglycoside antibiotics (gentamicin, neomycin) aspirin, anti-inflammatories, gingko biloba, and St. John’s warts.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS? Botox has been used for over 20 years to treat facial wrinkles and isafety and efficacy has been verified in many clinical trials, with no long term side effects reported from its use. Occasionally a small bruise may occur at the injection site. In very rare circumstances, patients may experience heaviness of eyebrow/eyelid which can last a few weeks. Prior to your Botox treatment, your provider will assess your risk for these side effects.

I HAVE SEEN CLINICS OFFERING BOTOX® MUCH CHEAPER Botox® treatment prices vary considerably from one clinic to another. Botox® is supplied to all medical clinics in a manufacturer’s vial containing a specific amount of vacuum dried neurotoxin (powder form). In order to inject the Botox® into our clients, the aesthetic injectable specialist must first add saline solution to turn the neurotoxin into liquid form mixture. Because of this, the strength and efficacy will differ from clinic to clinic depending on the amount of saline that was added to the original powder sent from the manufacturer. Beware of facilities offering “bargain prices” because this is usually a sign that product has been diluted far beyond what’s recommended or even effective for results. You may even be told that you are getting a large “dose” of the product when in reality you are being injected with mostly saline solution.

Botox® is a prescription only medicine and should be considered a medical procedure carried out in a controlled environment and administered by a qualified, medical professional.

Botox Myths & Facts

myth fact.png1.png FACT: Botox treats dynamic wrinkles. These are wrinkles that develop due to muscular contractions, like squinting, or frowning. Botox improves the appearance of these wrinkles by relaxing the muscles. This treatment is being used more frequently as a preventative solution because it trains the muscles to not make certain facial expressions, thus prolonging the development of static lines. If you wait till the lines have become etched into the skin then it is much more difficult to achieve a smooth appearance. Static wrinkles are no longer related to movement and won’t respond to Botox treatment. However, Botox can prevent these lines from worsening, but it may be necessary to combine treatment with cosmetic fillers to create a desired smooth appearance.

3.png FACT: Botox® is derived from botulinum toxin and can safely be injected into humans in extremely small concentrations. It works by preventing signals from the nerve cells reaching muscles, effectively leaving the muscles without instructions to contract, thus relaxing them. Botox is administered with pinpoint accuracy into a very specific set of muscles. The product may migrate up to 3 cm from from the injection site. However, even if some of the product were to go into the bloodstream and travel to distant sites in the body, the cosmetic doses (typically less than 100 units) used are significantly lower than the toxic dose that would be harmful systemically (2500-3000 units. Once the product stops functioning at the neuromuscular junction, it is broken down into its harmless amino acids and excreted by the kidneys.

4.png FACT: No, it is actually impossible for Botox to change the face permanently. Botox works at the nueromuscular junction site, by preventing the communication from the nerve cells reaching the muscles. However, just like your hair and nails continue to grow and your red blood cells keep turning over, your body continues to create new nueromuscular junctions. Therefore the effect of Botox will always wear off over time as your body continues to make new connections.

5.png FACT: There are two factors which can decrease the effectiveness of Botox. #1 Some people are genetically predisposed to make nerve to muscle junctions more quickly than others, therefore Botox will wear off faster and be less effective in these people. 2# This is seen in less than 1%, a tolerance or immunity to Botox can occur because when Botox is purified in the manufacturing process there are some proteins that remain in the mix and it is these proteins that people develops a tolerance to. However, proteins vary with each brand, so people do have alternatives to Botox treatments if they become less effective.
